• Proanthocyanidins are colorless bitter substances in plants. They are found in many plants such as cranberry, blueberry and grape seed. Only a high proportion of the monomeric proanthocyanidins (MPC) are found in certain grape varieties.
• Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is an enzyme found in all living cells. SOD forms a very important antioxidant defense.
